Are you a creative & technical graphic designer capable of conceptualising, designing, and overseeing the production of high-quality print materials? Then we are looking for you!
This role involves advanced design expertise, project management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative print solutions that align with client objectives and industry standards.
Role Description:
Prepare and optimize print-ready files, managing advanced prepress tasks such as colour correction, trapping, and imposition for various printing methods (digital, flexographic).
Collaborate with print production managers to select appropriate substrates, inks, and finishing techniques (e.g., UV coating, die-cutting, embossing) to achieve desired outcomes.
Oversee Output processes, conducting quality checks on plates and dies to ensure flawless print output and adherence to specifications
Manage high-profile client projects, presenting concepts, gathering feedback, and ensuring deliverables meet deadlines and budgets.
Innovate by integrating emerging print technologies, such as variable data printing or sustainable materials, into design workflows.
Stay current with industry trends, printing advancements, and software updates to enhance design efficiency and quality.
Person Specifications
Academic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, advanced certifications in Print design or print production are a plus.
Experience:
5+ years of professional graphic design experience, with at least 3 years in the printing industry.
Skills and Attributes
Technical Skills:
Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and prepress software (e.g., Artpro, Studio toolkit and Automation Engine ).
In-depth knowledge of print production processes, including CMYK color management, resolution standards, and file preparation for various presses.
Strong understanding of specialty printing techniques, such as foil stamping.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
A robust portfolio demonstrating advanced print design projects and creative problem-solving.
Experience with 3D rendering or packaging mockups is an advantage.
Familiarity with sustainable design practices and eco-friendly print solutions is preferred.
Expertise in workflow automation tools or print management software (e.g., Automation engine).
Knowledge of digital-to-print integration, such as QR code implementation or augmented reality features for print.

Communication: Clearly articulate design concepts, explain technical print requirements, and present ideas to clients and teams.
