Digital Operator

Key Responsibilities:

• Advanced Equipment Operation: Advanced Equipment Operation: Operate state-of-the-art digital printing presses and auxiliary equipment to produce a wide range of products, including pressure-sensitive labels, filmic labels, in mould labels, unsupported labels, across a wide range of customer applications.

• Job Setup and Configuration: Configure print parameters such as color profiles, substrate settings, and finishing options to align with job specifications and client expectations.

• Digital File Management: Validate and prepare digital files using industry-standard software ensuring accuracy in color, resolution, and layout.

• Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous quality checks to ensure color consistency, print clarity, and compliance with ISO standards or equivalent.

• Preventive Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance and calibration of digital printing equipment to optimize performance, minimize downtime, and extend equipment lifespan.

• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to hardware, software, or print output, leveraging manufacturer guidelines and technical expertise.

• Sustainability Practices: Implement eco-friendly practices, such as minimizing waste, using sustainable substrates, and adhering to environmental standards.

• Inventory Optimization: Manage consumables (e.g., inks, toners, papers) efficiently, using inventory tracking systems to reduce waste and ensure supply availability.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with graphic designers and production team to streamline workflows and meet project deadlines.

• Data and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of production metrics, including job completion times, material usage, and quality control outcomes.

• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to global safety standards and maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace.
